About WIN EURASIA Automation
WIN EURASIA Automation Continue to take the pulse of the industry!
WIN Eurasia Automation 2016, which ran 17–20 March at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul, has consolidated its position as Eurasia’s most important industrial trade fair. Connecting Otomasyon Eurasia, Electrotech Eurasia, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Eurasia and CeMAT, the event introduced all solutions required in a factory from simple cables to fluid power systems, drive technology to software, robotic arms to unmanned forklifts. WIN Eurasia Automation 2016 hosted 69,751 visitors during four days. These visitors came especially from the electric/electronic, automotive machinery and automation sectors. 94% of visitors expressed their satisfaction with the fairs.
The next WIN Eurasia Automation will take place from 16 to 19 March 2017.
The technology’s future started in Istanbul,
WIN EURASIA Automation welcomed Industry 4.0
The Industry 4.0 trend is sweeping the entire global economy and is transforming virtually every industry. This new development allows the machinery, computers, drives and control devices in the manufacturing process to communicate with each other as well as to coordinate and optimize themselves almost entirely independent of human intervention. This reduces manufacturing time, cost and energy use whereas increasing production quality and puts “smart factories” to the center of the industry.
Held between March 17th- 20th in Istanbul,, WIN Eurasia Automation presented one of the major contributions to the development of Industry 4.0 in Eurasia with the innovative products and solutions displayed by the exhibitors. The fair made it clear that the new industrial era has arrived and digital integration is becoming a key aspect of modern manufacturing. 4.0 trade fairs, namely Automation Eurasia, Electrotech Eurasia, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Eurasia and Materials Handling Eurasia brought together the high end component, driver, software, robotic and materials handling solutions for integrated manufacturing processes in the new industrial era. It provided all solutions required for a factory under a single roof, from cables to fluid power technologies, driver technologies to software products, robotic arms to unmanned forklifts.
In Otomasyon Eurasia, visitors had the opportunity to see the integrated and robotic industrial solutions by imitating animal and human movements and equipped with the more compact components. In addition to these, “RoboThespian” -a life sized humanoid robot designed which pointes out the high stage of technological development- got intense attention from visitors. Another major development was showcased to visitors in Materials Handling Eurasia. Innovative, energy-saving forklift trucks and industrial trucks, fully automated handling, shelving and warehousing systems were exhibited in the trade fair. In the Application Park Area, the forklifts which enable pallet-less transport was presented to visitors through live solution shows. Besides, in the Simulation Area of hall 12, training simulators and mobile platforms which allow for training forklift and crane operators were introduced.
The influence of Industry 4.0 was observed in Electrotech Eurasia as well. Various products such as smart and refined safety relays and electronic components that have IP numbers and can communicate with each other, were showcased throughout the trade fair. In the meanwhile, Hydraulic&Pneumatic Eurasia provided the innovations in fluid power systems such as the products with energy saving sealing formula which support the developing automation technologies.
Forums Focusing on the Future of Industries
In addition to the displayed products and solutions, the future technologies for manufacturing industry were highlighted by forums and panels which enabled exchange of information inside and outside the sector as well. In the Hydraulic & Pneumatic Forum Area created at the hall 5 with the support of AKDER, the focus was on current topics in the sector such as energy saving. Also, this area hosts the panel held by AKDER about the place and importance of automation on hydraulics and pneumatics with the participation of Bosch Rexroth, Festo, Parker, Mert Teknik and İzmir Hidropar. In the Materials Handling Forum Area created in the hall 12 with the support of İSDER and İSAG, important topics such as innovative solutions in intralogistics industry and occupational health and safety in logistics were discussed.
Another event that was held throughout the exhibition was the Automation Forum Area, which was organized at the hall 1 with the support of ENOSAD. As part of 4-day forums, important companies such as ELİMKO, WAGO, ENDRESS+HAUSER, TURCK, SMS-TORK, FESTO, MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC, YASKAWA, BOSCH REXROTH, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, ABB, STÄUBLI, ALTINAY, SICK, SEW-EURODRIVE, LİMA, MCS, and GÜNMAK made presentations on industrial robotic applications and automation. Also, a panel named Industry 4.0 was held on March 18th with the participation of ENOSAD’s Board of Directors, BOSCH, FORD, IBM, KORDSA GLOBAL, TURKCELL Super Online and academicians.
