BURSA AGRICULTURE 2015, Bursa International 13th Agriculture, Seed Raising, Saplings and Dairy Industry Fair and BURSA INTERNATIONAL 8th STOCK BREEDING AND EQUIPMENT FAIR prepared by our establishment Tuyap Bursa Fairs Organization INC. in cooperation with TARMAKBIR the Turkish Association of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers, with the support of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, The Union of Turkish Chambers of Agriculture, The Central Union of Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, The Chamber of Agricultural Engineers, Bursa Commodity Exchange, Bursa Provincial Food, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department, Bursa Chamber of Agriculture, The Chamber of Agricultural Engineers Bursa Branch, Cattle Breeder’s Association of Bursa, KOSGEB, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be organized between October 13 – 17, 2015 at Tüyap Bursa International Fair and Congress Center – Bursa, Turkey.

Commenting on the general condition of the sector and the fair, Tüyap Bursa Fuarcılık A.Ş. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü stated that “Turkey, having a key role in agriculture and stock breeding sector globally, is an agricultural country suitable with its climate and geography. Bursa Agriculture and Stock Breeding Fairs organized in 2014, in Bursa, being an important city with its agricultural resources, fertile soil and high production capacity in our country which is increasing its agricultural production took place in a total of 70,000 square meter grounds consisting of 40,000 square meters of indoor in 7 separate halls and 30,000 square meters of outdoor space with the participation of 526 firms and firm representatives from 25 countries; and hosted 268.125 visitors from 41 countries including Turkey and from 78 provinces of Turkey.

The sales amount of nearly TRY 500 million realized during the visit hours of the fair by our participant firms considerably reassured the sector. Nearly 123.000 visitors arriving into the city lodged in the hotels, dined and shopped in Bursa, which significantly contributed to the economy of the city. Furthermore, pre-reservations have already been made at the hotels for Bursa Agriculture and Stock Breeding Fairs in 2015.  This data highlights the contributions of these fairs to the social, cultural and economic welfare of the city”.

Bursa Agriculture and Stock Breeding Fairs, which sector enthusiasts arrange their calendars accordingly, is the sole events, among other agricultural fairs organized in our country, where product ranges are exhibited in line with 7 climate zones.  Visitors, no matter whether they come from abroad or from the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Black Sea, Central Anatolia, Eastern Anatolia, Southeast Anatolia Regions, may find all products they seek in their own area of interest and climate under the same roof.

Fairs Spread through Wide Areas
